Practice Update: Good News, Bad News!

The bad news is that practices have been cancelled for this evening and will resume Saturday morning. The GREAT news is that Goodberry's at Davis Dr and High House has offered to host us for a fundraising team spirit night from 6:30-8:30 TONIGHT! Since we don't have practice, we might as well have fun, learn some cheers, and still get to hang out with our awesome neighbors. Make sure to tell them you are with Kitts Creek Swim Club...and feel free to bring friends!! Hope to see you there; Coach Anndria is excited to see everyone!

***URGENT UPDATE*** Practice has been cancelled tonight due to mechanical problems at the pool. Practices will resume tomorrow night unless you are otherwise notified. Please check back for updates!

Swim Assessment: Weather Update

The swim assessment has been delayed until 6:30.  Please check back, as we may need to cancel entirely and plan of the rain date on Thursday.

It's Swim Assessment Time!!

Reminder on Tuesday (5/22) evening from 5:30-7:30pm please bring any swimmers 8 year old and younger to the pool for the swim assessment. The swim assessment will help the Coach evaluate the swimmer's comfort in the water. As a TSA exhibition team, we will be adhering to the guidelines that require 7 and 8 year olds to swim the full length of the pool independently. Children who are unable to meet this requirement, at the start of the season, will practice with the transition team until they are able to do so.

We are aware that there is a chance for thunderstorms. We will adhere to the general water safety guidelines, if we hear thunder we will exit the pool for at least 30 mins. We will update the blogs/web site if we need to postpone. The current rain date is set for Thursday, May 24th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
